You can have headaches at anytime during pregnancy, but not everyone has headaches when they are pregnant. I had headaches at the beginning of my pregnancy because I cut back on caffeine.

You can have them from the very beginning. I had through my entire pregnancy. You can really only have take Tylenol. Try to relax in a quite room and use a cool rag or even a hot one(which ever one feels better) on your head. If they do become severe talk to your doctor.

Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

Pretty much right away. Major hormonal change in the body = headaches. It was one of the first things I had. Luckily, I was told it is safe to take acetaminophen (tylenol), but don't take ibuprofen (advil) or aspirin.

Around 3 months is when I started to have them, and if you are working during your pregnancy it really sucks... Once I was in my 5th month they were really strong and the only thing to get rid of them is to lay down and keep your eyes closed...
