Yes- as long as your doctor deems you as healthy, it is fine. Airlines usually don't place restrictions until you are much further along in pregnancy. You can read more here

You can fly up tell your 3rd Tri-mester(all ways consult DR. if its a high risk pregnancy). As far as the morning sickness that all depends on how well you, yourself are able to cope.

8 weeks is absolutely fine, unless you (or your family) have had a medical issue in the past with first trimester pregnancy/miscarriages.
No airlines have restrictions on traveling during the first trimester.
And if you're still having morning sickness, they even have "barf bags" available on all flights.
Best of luck,

Did you have airsickness on the past?
The flight is not going to hurt your baby, but X rays may, so take the positive pregnancy test result with you and ask not to be exposed to X rays during safety check.

Generally, airlines won't prohibit you from travelling until your 34th week or so. However, your doctor will probably suggest that you not travel at any time in the third trimester.

The problem resides in the first weeks of pregmancy, It's not impossible for you to have problems in flight, but i would say that the most problematic part is the first weeks.
