I have had this done because when I was a little younger I hardly ate any fruit and veg and for this reason hardly ever went to the toilet - so I had it done as I gathered I would be a little blocked up. (plus I heard someone lost half a stone having it done ;o)
I found it really quite embarrasing and unbelievably painful! It hardly worked at all either, the doc had to use herbs to get things 'happening' but by then the time was almost up (too much info? sorry).
I think if you have it done regularly it's probably a worthwhile treatment to cleanse your body.. I think I paid approx £40-60 but that was about 5 years ago.

Colonic Irrigation is basically a fast route for those that don't want to do a body cleansing diet/fast. it purges toxins from your body. though a body cleanse has all the benefits of an irrigatin plus a whole lot more, since it cleanses all toxins from the body, not just the colon.

I would Not go thru that unless I had to for surgery or something. It is an unnatural thing to do to the body. You put your electrolytes way out of balance, you kill off the natural bacteria in your bowel that aid in digestion and you risk major infection.

I've not but I guess I might consider it, if I was feeling really brave and was v sure it was safe (some people say it can damage you in there but I've no idea if that's true or not) - I actually think it'd prob feel quite good - you must feel v empty afterwards!
Good luck if you do go for it. xxx
