i got these like backward p's at the end of every line, i dont know what they are but they are on every word document i open, can sum1 first tell me how to turn them off, and then what on earth they are..

On the standard tool bar- the one with the cut and paste icons, undo redo icons, printer icons, floppy disc, folder icon- you will see the backwards P icon. Click on it, and they will disappear.
In case you don't know what icons are, they are the little pictures on the toolbar.
You can also show or hide formatting marks by clicking Tools on the top menu, select Options, and then click the View tab. Under Formatting marks, uncheck the box under formatting that says paragraph marks.
The backwards P marks show every space you've tab, how many times you've pushed enter, and how many spaces you've entered between each character.

They are paragraph markers...go into formating and turn them off. They will not show up when you print the document

You're viewing your "paragraph marks". Go to View, and in the drop-down menu, uncheck the line that says "View Paragraph Marks". Problem solved!

that means that thoses ps are paragraph spacing...if you have the microsoft word office online..if you go up there at the fomatting bar the little p that is on your thing is up there just click that..that should solve your problem

pass to kit then suggestions interior the options window.. click View interior the Formatting Marks.. get rid of the exams in all the products (Tab characters, areas, Paragraph marks, Hiddentext, non-obligatory products, all) click ok.

you have the show formatting on...they are paragraph ps. i think if you go into format i think there is a reveal/hide formatting option
