you have to remember that it's primary time.. and during the primaries the candidates try to appeal to the fringe to get votes... and the rest of the people of the party just kind of follow along.. after the primaries everyone will start shooting for the moderates and you'll see a change in policy in the nation.

Both in the last 50 years have swung HUGELY liberal. Todays republicans arent even as conservative as democrats used to be. Im afraid secularism is taking this country in a terrible direction.

I don't think there is any doubt that religious extremist have control of the republican party. While the democrats are controled by directionless liberal pretenders.

I think people's opinion in the political media are far more extreme than our lawmakers or politicians. Taking a position is typically accomplished to differentiate themselves from the crowd, when, running for office, otherwise, politics moves very slowly.

The extremists have take over the DNC, but sadly, they speak for most Democrats.

No one speaks for me, I have a brain and I use it that's why they call me an Independent. I could care less what either party says, I formulate my on ideas and vote accordingly.
