A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course. One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes and bows in prayer.
His friend says, "Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man."
The man then replies, "Yeah, well we were married 35 years."

Not only do I think it is funny I find it even more amusing that so many women say it would have to be a man thing. Or that it is only funny as a joke but not in real life. In reality that would happen more times than many of them would care to realize.

Yes...it's funny. It's dark humor. A lot of people are too uptight to appriciate those kind of jokes.

It was funny, because it was unexpected (which is what true comedy is about). So, yeah, funny as a joke, but fortunately, no man will be that clueless (oh, I hope not!!).
