I believe that Bill Bellichek will be hailed as one of the top five best coaches ever. Yes he has an astounding team which is really only consistent at his offensive line unit and his quarterback unit in Tom Brady. The rest of his team is nothing phenomenal but they just are disciplined and are in the right place at the right time, which comes from practice and from the coaching. Without Bill Bellichek there then there would be no Championships. When Brady played in Michigan he wasn't anything special and did not play for that long. Someone had to help mold him(coach Bellichek) and also being under the wing of Drew Bledsoe also helped. To say because of his past in Cleveland that denotes his series of greatness in New England would be assinine. To be honest what coach since bellichek has done well with the Browns. Bellicheks bad years at the Browns should show how he has grown as a coach and has found a strong way to work around his defeats to be the best coach that there is in the game today and possibly ever.
Overall Bellicheck will be held as one of the top five coaches ever if not the best coach in the league.

the top 5 is some pretty good company. he may be in the top 5 for the current era, but i just don't know about all time. i don't think it's all about tom brady tho. the pats are one of the few teams that really exist as a TEAM and not as a bunch of individuals (randy moss, TO) running around screaming their own names. i think bellichek is responsible for that and that makes him one hell of a coach. **i'm not a pats fan either, but lets give credit where it's due**

When you can turn a 6th round pick into one of the best QB's of all time and you can just plug in whoever you want at WR and still be one play away from making to the superbowl once again then you must be a great coach and bill is just that

i am a totally biased pats fan but yeah i agree...he is brillant....of course lets see what i say next february now that my expectations are so darn high!

And there is no way all the pats success is just because of brady (who i love but i am not blind!!). He and bellichik and just a great combo and add the rest of the team who all work hard to succeed and it just works!

not to disrespect him, but i think the teams with which he has won you could have plugged any good coach in there and they would've done the same. but ask Dan Marino championships count! so i'd have to say if he's not top five then definately top ten, sorry for the non-definative answer, i'm good at that though. ask my wife lol

yeah, he'll be among the best. he'll never be considered the best, but definately among, probably top 5. he knows which players to draft that have character. those that dont have character he cuts. he found tom brady with a late pick, who is like favre, and takes several pay cuts to stay with the team. brady is a leader and plays for the team, not for himself.

I believe he is. He has 5 rings and 3 of them as head coach. His teaching methods are legendary and his alliance with GM Pioli allows them to draft or acquire smart, versatile players. He is headed for the hall of fame.

Nope sorry. See problem is he has a RESUME that includes BEFORE THE PATRIOTS. So we have something to compare this to. That being the Browns. Yep those losers that even he was a loser with. So no he isn't that great, it is the team not him.
