4.1 is rational. A rational number is a number that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers. 4.1 = 41/10. Decimal numbers that have an infinitely repeating sequence (e.g., 0.1111111111... = 1/9), or a limited number of digits (e.g., 0.123457 = 123457/1000000), are all rational.

The formula for volume is L*W*H. Since multiplication is commutative, it doesn't matter what order the numbers are given in, the same answer results. If you turn a box on its side, its volume doesn't change as a result of that, even though which measure is the "height" will change.

no, it does not matter which is which. The formula for volume is L x W x H. It does not matter which order they are listed, as the multiplication works out the same either way.
