Not really....sometimes they can't help it because their parents spoke that way. Also people all over the world say things different ways. Babing suit and chimley seem a little out there but axe is pretty common..I think it just depends what part of the country you ar in. Lousianna folks pronounce things very differently than I do..but I love the way they talk.

If I know they are doing it on purpose, Yes.
But if I know is a person's accent or the person does not know how to pronounce it, for me it is OK. If you are acostume to your language and try to speak a different language you are always going to have mispronunciation. Try speaking french commons words or what about Vietnamese or as a matter of fact any other language you prefer you still gonna have the same issue. By the way even here in the US go to different state and pronunciation is different, yes even for common words.

My husband has a million of them. When he's trying to be cute, he pronounces S as SH. as in, It's "shnowing".
And he says, woish instead of wash, oinge instead of orange, and he constantly mispronounces a local town. It's LaMoille, and he says Lamoral.
I also notice when people say "phrotography", and "Jewlery".
My boss says "bataeta" when he means "potato".
And yes, I want to SCREAM when someone says "Valentimes Day".
