Yep, every once in a great while. 2 Excedrine migrane pills and it's gone.

Yes!

In addition to my medication, I have always found that an icepack is very helpful, as well as something tight around my head, as another person suggested.

The most helpful thing I've found (non-pharmaceutically speaking) is the Thera-Med Cold Pack Headache Band. They are about $9.00 and I just keep 2 in my freezer. They velcro around your head; the cold lasts for about 20 or 30 minutes, so I keep one on, and one chilling; I literally will wear one for 24 hours straight sometimes....

No, but my rooommate in college used to get those. She'd have to turn off all of the lights, take an exceddrin (sp?) and go to sleep. The poor girl often threw up too. They're awful things.

All the time since I was 3 years old. Since I hit my 30's, there have been very few moments when I haven't had migraines.

Many....the suck....when they come on, I try to get the room quiet and dark. if lights bothering it I'm screwed for the day...if sound bothers it then a couple of migraine strength Excedrin will take care of it...that and a nap...
