Because you are letting them. Close friends should never treat you that way. People will treat you crappy because they get satisfaction putting you down. They could be jealous too. You don't need people like that in your life. You're a much better person than they are.

Ummm, because theyre not good friends. Good friends would never make you feel crappy. I would rather have one true friend than a million fake ones!! Remember that.....people could surprise you at any givin time and stab you right in the back when you least expect it!! You find out who your friends are in the end....Choose carefully!

If they treat u crappy then obviosly they dont truly want to be ur friend that bad I would ditch the friend if they keep doing treating you like that.

Because they can. Because you are so close to them they take youfor granted or think they can treat you anyway they want.
Following the same logic, you should be able to tell them anything you want too and you'll still be friends. So let them know you don't like how they are treating you.

i know how you feel... those who are close to you, treat you so bad because they think that you will always be there for them. They think you will never leave, so they can treat you how ever you want. That's way so many families and relationships end badly. They are using each other, and everyone gets hurt!

If they do then they aren't good close friends. You might be a good friend and consider yourself close to them but if they treat you like trash they probably don't feel the same about you. If they're just being honest with you and your feelings are hurt, thats one thing - but if they're just plain mean/disrespectful, then they aren't friends.

Maybe you haven't established your boundries with that friend. You have to immediately tell them that you will not tolerate this kind of disrespect, and ask them how they'd like it if you treated them like that? Should you have made an innocent mistake, you would appreciate it in the future that they be more kind the way they establish THEIR boundries. We all make mistakes, and our friends should be forgiving yet telling us where the mistake was should we have not noticed our faux pah.

Maybe they are not as good a friends as you thought. They shouldnt be treating you like that.
