personally i hate the pats, and dont see how everyone thinks they're so good, their players are overated and the only reason they win so many games in my opinion is their coaching

But DAMN look at those names added:

*Randy Moss
Adalius Thomas
*Dante Stallworth
*Wes Welker
*Tory James

randy moss has a lot of problems, and who knows if he'll turn it around

stallworth has injury problems but could be a key contributor

wes welker is unproven and is mainly a special teams guy

and as for james he's not the most outstanding corner i've ever seen

I dont know, I am not sold. I am going to wait until I see them play before I pass judgement because bringing in a bunch of big names over a short period of time never works out. They are going to have to build chemistry and get on the same page mean while the Ravens and Chargers (best records in the AFC last year both coming off of embarrising playoff losses, with something to prove) have practically their entire teams back. If I had to pick a Superbowl winner today, it would be one of them because they are going to fly under the radar compared to the star studded Pats and I wouldnt put it past the Pats to get to confident in themselves. I happens all the time.

I also absolutely hate the Pats, because my dad is a Colts fan, and they only now beat the Pats in the playoffs, but disregaurding my opinion, the Patriots do have great talent and team players. Not many receivers besides Troy Brown have 6 interceptions. Tom B is absolutely the second best quarterback in the league. Of, course Bill Belicheck is a great coach with a good mind, but to say the all the patroit players are overrated is wrong. I mea, they do have a few people that people think are good, that really aren't. Overall, the Patriots wil be the team to beat this year besides the Colts and Saints.

I don't. While I don't question the verisimilitude of him being a hero, I don't think he should be inducted into the Football Hall Of Fame. If only for the fact that Pat Tillman never wanted to be treated "special." He just wanted to be a regular guy that faught, and tragically died, for his country. Putting him in the HOF would be like putting him on a pedastol, like putting his life over the lives of other young men who've died in this war, just because he played in the NFL. I don't think that would be right, and I don't think it is how Pat Tillman would want to be remembered.

a close second. I cant place them above the champs till they beat them again. (Peyton Manning and the Colts have won 4 straight games vs. the Pats, who's got whose number NOW?)

WOW.

Their problem last year was an aging defense, and lack of talented recievers. It's pretty obvious they improved both with the addition of Moss, Welker, Merriwether, Stallworth, and Thomas. With these key free agent additions they will be the best in the AFC next year.

I hate'em too. But I can't think of a secondary in the AFC (except the Ravens) that can shut down their receivers... especially with Brady behind center.

With the weapons that Brady has now, they should go undefeated.I know in todays league that's almost impossible.Just with them getting Moss makes them that much better.

They are the favorite to win it all, and although it is only May u have to like their team. Even w/o Moss they were a solid club.

that depends on whether or not Moss will play good or not show up to practice and not being able to play
