I am 7 months pregnant and was very much looking forward to natural child birth. I have done it many times before and have even inserted old umbilical cords into my uterus for my unborn babies to feed off of. Yesterday my ob/gyn told me that I am too stank for natural child birth. He says that he would prefer to give me a C section because he cannot stand the smell from natural birth.
He says that the bodily fluids are very disgusting and unsanitary and the thought of seeing them and smelling them turn his stomach. He says that it is easier for him and his staff to just give me a c section because my femail zone is gross and the smell makes him throw up. Is this right?? Should I really have to have a c section because my ob/gyn feels that I am too stank for natural birth??

First of all I never heard of anyone inserting old umbilical cords into there uterus so the baby could feed off of. The unborn fetus only feeds through his umbilical cord attached to your placenta. You would have done better to eat the umbilical cord so it would have digested and went to your baby via your placenta to his umbilical cord. What in the hell am I saying you don't do that? I heard of people planting there placenta next to an tree or something but I never heard of this before. About your odor. Or you from Africa or somewhere were you don't believe in bathing you believe in the body's own natural scent? If not then you are being unsanitary and you need to bathe. If you want your doctor to change his mind then you need to wash your behind. It is too late in the game to be changing doctors (I doubt anyone would take you this late in the pregnancy)and besides this one already knows your history. I suggest you run a warm tub of water(bubble bath) pour a couple of capfuls of vinegar in the tub along with a sprinkle of baking soda in your bath water and wash good especially your genital area and maybe your doctor will have a change of heart if he sees you trying to clean up.

No! If you have a bad odor, your doctor should help you find out the cause, not critcize you. Find a new doctor ASAP. This question seems a little strange,I have never heard of using old umbilical cords to "feed" unborn babies. Hopefully you are just joking.

No...natural child birth is your option....if you have a c-section any children you have in the future will also be by c-section....secondly having a c-section is a way to schedule your birth instead of the surprise of your water breaking....if you are in the US it is more expensive to have a c-section than natural child birth...as for the doc saying that it turns his stomach.....he should find a new profession....I had both of my boys naturally and I didn't smell anything......do want you want to do...it is your choice and your right.....

NO! What the heck is this for real? I've never heard anything like that before hun, I think you should report something like that to the Dr's superiors. You're going to get a C section to appease his sense of smell? This sounds rediculous!!!!

Yes. Why would anyone want to smell some nasty A22 putang just because that person doesn't know how to take care of themselves?

Or, go to a different doctor.

Or, think of better made-up questions to ask.

NO, it is your body & your child, unless there is a serious medical risk then you should do what you feel comfertable with. Honestly he sounds like a bad doc, if I were you I would find another one & FAST. He is a doctor, he needs to be prepared for child birth, doing sergiers for his convenstion with no benifits to the patien is just wrong.

Probably cause you inserted something called "FOREIGN" into your vagina. Your baby FEEDS OFF YOUR IMBILICAL CORD you don't need another one. Was this a medical procedure? You might be better off if you were going to c-section. Your baby could probably contract something.
