Here is the scenario: I want to be intimate and make love to my wife, but she says she is too tired, but she says because she loves me, she will let me have sex to please myself, meanwhile, her eyes are closed and she's half asleep. I guess I'm kind of a romantic, because I don't really want to have sex unless it is special for both of us. Before I ever got married, I had always hoped that if my wife was ever tired when I wanted to make love with her, she wouldn't let me know. I had always hoped that she would act like she wasn't tired and that she wanted to make love to me, too. I had always hoped she would do this because of how important sexual intimacy is to me. We're both in our 20s, haven't been married for more than a year, and don't have kids or any other kind of big stress in our lives, and we both love eachother very much. I'm just wondering if my expectations are too high or unreasonable? Any thoughts would be welcome, especially from the ladies. Thanks.

It is nice that she is willing to let you have it if she is not in the mood, but I understand that you probably don't just want to go through with it if she is just going to lie there. I would not sweat it too much unless she is always like this.

Does she have a stressful job or a "real" reason to be tired? I would think that it wouldn't make you feel to good for her to tell you just to have sex w/ her to please yourself & she just lays there. It takes 2 to have a special relationship like that. I think you should sit down & tell her how you feel. i wouldn't think someone in their 20s would be that tired all the time, is there a different problem she's not telling you? I'd find out by talking to her.

Is she always like tat?? Maybe she reli is tired, then you should understand. But try and talk to her and tell her of your sexual desires. WOmen dont just turn on or off like tat. You have to work to turn them on...be romantic and set an ambience. She would love it and it will set a mood.
