They are still living in the past. They believe they are still in the majority. They don't even see it coming.

And, there is nothing political in the fact that Republicans running for office cannot get far enough away from Bush?
Regardless of Bush’s veto, you will see a major reduction of US troops in Iraq in time for the Republican Party to gain political advantage for the 2008 elections.
You don’t think leaving our troops in Iraq to die until it is politically expedient to bring them home is being political (not to mention dishonest, immoral, and hypocritical – but then, that pretty much describes conservatives these days, doesn’t it?).

Not at all, but, personally, I'll be very relieved when our brave military stop dying in a Civil War that 'we' cannot win and stop dying in fire fights helping mostly to train Al Qaeda recruits how to defeat us when their terrorist war comes to our own streets and cities.

See how incredibly misguided you Clintonestas are? Bill CAN NOT be president. A vote for Hillary will not get you Bill back. She can not appoint him to a cabinet position. Hillary is too power hungry to give ANY 'duties' to him......aside from being a cheerleader. She will not "share" her presidency with him. After her scandal ridden failed health care plan--BILL SHUT HER OUT...........did you read her book? His book? She spent her reamaining white house years writing "It Takes a Village"--not gaining all this 'experience' she is claiming she has now.
Voting for Hillary will not get you Bill back. They are two totally different people with THEIR OWN agendas. I am afraid if she is elected you will be very disappointed.

I think the only people that would be excited at the prospect of American defeat in our military operations are liberals as well desiring empty unprincipled opportunists in the white house come 09.

The "war" part of it was won in a few weeks.
I think you are confusing "war" with "restructuring".
I seriously doubt Hillary will win. Here's why:
No conservative will vote for her. Ever.
Swing voters are not convinced.
And many liberals have already stated they wouldn't vote for her.
I think it's important that she run anyway, because it will set a precedent.

After this business with what's-her-name and her little black book, I doubt if too many of the high and mighty crooks in our government will be left to care.
