26 is not old. . . you have plenty of time, there is a time and a season for all things, right now maybe is your time to concentrate on career, yourself, education. . . and maybe you'll meet a man doing those things.

I'm afraid men cannot help themselves when it comes to ladies in distress. As you don't say where you live, I can only generalise. If you live near a beach that has plenty of guys around, pretend that your car has broken down (pull a wire off a spark plug) and select someone to ask to help. As he is re-connecting it, comment that you really should do a course on basic repairs as you have no one to help as you are single and alone. This also work if you live in a apartment etc. Find a door knob that has come off (ahem), a light bulb that needs changing but "you just cannot get the darn thing out of the socket" etc, etc. Women are the best improvisers of all time so I'm sure you'll think of something.

i used to have the same problem. During those times i was alway in the house watching movies and reading my books. i never had any friend or boyfriend, My life was so lonely till i started my National Service and join a committee. that was when i became alittle popular. it was there that i met my boyfriend. So my dear friend try to go out and met new friend and always try to look nice and smartlydress.goodluck

Several things that may help: ask your female and male friends if they know anyone, go out - go to bookstores, sports bars, parks, sporting events anything but go out, and try to flirt more. Just say ," Hi my name is ------ " and give a man a compliment. Men never get compliments;trust me, we are like putty when we get them.

Go to a public place, because if something happens you can scream (LOL) but go up to a guy and ask his name and talk with him, Pick one that you like, not just a random guy. If you want to take a friend with you.

you still have time and make sure you take your time wisely. there are a lot of good men out there just waiting for you, but don't jump to fast on most.
