I think I know what you're talking about. There was an episode of "Golden Girls" in which Sophia wanted to see what her funeral would be like; the only thing was that people that she had died. They were upset to learn that Sophia was still alive.
I never thought about what my funeral would be like. I don't feel that Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name" would be sung.
Wouldn't it be nice to actually be nice if people could be ghost at there own funeral as Patrick Swazey was during "Ghost" until the killer was found?

I would love to go to me own funeral (more like a party for my life). I would laugh at all the sad people and stick fingers up noses. But I really don't think that I would expect my dog there. O_o The most hurt would probably be my mom (if not alive), then my husband (better have one by then).
Whoot! I'm die! Now the real fun begins. *ugg, I don't know any evil smiles on the key board* :D (that will do, yes. MAwhahaha)

I often think about things like this. I f I were to die today I don't think too many people would show up. I know my Mom and step mom, my dad and stepmom, and my kids and their dad would come. I don't think my brother would because he doesn't get along with my mom and we live in the same city and haven't seen him since christmas. My boyfriend would probably rather go golfing. My "friends" don't even show up for my birthday so why would they come when i am dead?
so basically I would not want to be there... I wouldn't want to see how few people really cared about me. Instead I will take my ghost *** to whatever race track the NEXTEL cup series is at and haunt the **** out of Kurt and Kyle busch and Jeff Gordan...

I don't want a funeral! I want a big party where everyone is drinking Irish Whiskey and dancing and laughing and NO TEARS! I think funerals are too depressing, they should be a celebration of the persons life. I want my friends and family to laugh and be happy and acknowledge they'll miss me then move on! And definately NO VIEWING, why would I want people to remember me laying down looking dead?

No. But I intend to attend it after I have died. As far as the mourners are concerned, I have not sent out any invitations, therefore, who ever comes will be a surprise to Me. I will be the most hurt because I will have missed My own funeral.

Yeah I would. I think my mom would be the most upset. I am married but I still think my mom would be the most hurt. If I knew who would show up then I would expect it. So I don't know who would be there unexpected.

Umm... if it's your funeral - you'd be the guest of honor anyway, wouldn't you?
No funeral for me, I'm not having one - so no attendees. But if I can get out of attending too, I'll be happy with that :-)

I'll be there even if I don't like it...
The Chief of a distant planet Hiranya will be there to bid me farewell, I would never expect him to come as he has a whole planet to take care of....
then I'll be the most hurt person.. cause I just died!
lol!
well buddy you take care....
:o)

No I wouldn't go, I'd be dead.
However if you mean in the hypothetical sense, yes I would go.
Hitler would be there, would be expecting him. Also Morrissey would be invited.
My mum 'n' dad would probably be pretty pissed off.
