The Green Bay Packers. Why? Other than I'm a cheesehead (and, contrary to rumor, it's not a state law that all Wisconsinites are required to be Packer fans, or eat a minimum of 20 pounds of cheese a month, for that matter), they're the only team owned by its fans, and not some rich bastid who'll up and move the team if he doesn't get his way and get the taxpayers to build him a new stadium. We know they're not going anywhere, ever. Every regular season game sold out since 19-freakin'-60! Forty year waiting list to get tickets! Fans that show up when it's below zero with a minus forty wind chill! And then there's the history, tradition, and legend. Twelve (count 'em, twelve) NFL championships! Frozen tundra! Lombardi! Lambeau (the coach)! Lambeau (the stadium)! The Ice Bowl! Favre! Starr! Nitschke! White! That's, and about a hundred other reasons, why.

Favorite College Team is Penn State Nittany Lions. Joe Paterno is a great coach. He has coached PSU for 57 years (he is 81 years old) and he is a great man.

Favorite Professional Team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bill Cowher, the head coach who retired last year, coached the Steelers 14 years (he is 50 years old), but before coming to Pittsburgh in 1992 he coached Kansas City and Cleveland. I am going to miss the age of "Cowher Power"!!!

When I was younger every one around me liked other teams, I grew up in Phoenix Arizona. I would say the number one team everyone liked was the boy's from texas, so I was a forty niner fan until we got the cardinal's. I am a fan of everything Phoenix, Go Sun's. By the way I am going to bet the house on the Cardinal's this season.

My favorite team is America's Team, Them Dallas Cowboys. I have LOVED the boys since I was 4. I used to watch football every Sunday with my grandpa who was a Redskins fan, so I thought he need someone to argue with, that is why I became a Cowboys Fan. Now 26 years later my love for that team is as big as Texas itself. They are the Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cleveland Browns. They have the biggest fan base in the world. I used to live in Germany and the Browns Backers are 5000 strong there. No other team has that type of support.

The New England Patriots. I got a hooded sweatshirt of the team when I was about 11 just because I liked the helmet. I was probably the only one who cheered for them when they played the Bears in the '86 Super Bowl. I really got into them when they brought in Parcells and drafted Bledsoe and have followed them since. Yeah, I was one of those guys that was kind of upset when they brought in Belichick as head coach, but what a great coach. Now many have jumped on the bandwagon, so it doesn't feel as special. I just can't believe most people in Boston would prefer to watch the Red Sox. Baseball....ick.
