And have you ever been down to see it? If so what was it like?

By the way yes you can go down and see it and it costs about £25,000 ! Just wondering if anyone was rich enough to go down and see it!

Kevan M: I have a video about after it had sunk and i know that there was alot more they could have done to save more people and it annoys me that they didnt! I was just saying that i love the ship as it was beautiful! I also love the film but i do know the story behind it too! It is a sad thing that happened and it didnt need to if Captain Smith didnt order the last boilers lit when they knew that ice burgs were ahead! They should never have cursed the ship by saying it was unsinkable!

The Titanic was a sad loss of life and not a very intriguing story, especially when you read the Official reports and enquiry about the disaster and total disregard of the people on board by the ships Master and Crew, so many more could have been saved and a lot more done. Considering that almost 50% of the Lifeboats where launched only half full and that the time taken to get people to Boat Stations, the crew had never been trained in evacuation, the lack of communication between key personnel and the lack of a central emergency plan was horrendous.
I suggest you read the official enquiry from the Coroners and Board of Trades reports and then see how much you love the 'Titanic'

I went to the Titanic a few years ago in London.
It was amazing! They had a chunk of the ship as you walked in. And they gave you a borading card that told you all about one particular passenger.
It was such a good exhibition and I could have spent all week in there!

As far as I am aware the Titanic sank in 1912. It is not a tourist attraction that people can "go down to see". How can you love a boat, sunk or not?

I can't say that I love the ship, but I did hear that it was actually part of a conspiracy theory of insurance fraud. The ship that is actually sunk at the bottom of the ocean is The Brittanic - ooer.

I agree, it is one fascinating ship. I've been intreged with it my entire life, did alot of reports and whatnot when i was in school way before the movie came out. I like the fact that they basically said it was unsinkable, and well... it sank. lol. That's what happens when you get cocky.

the story is very fascinating, but I find it very hard to understand why people would want to go down to see a grave yard.

The ship should be left alone, let the ocean destroy the ship.

i find it all very fascinating. I've watched the movie lots of times and everytime there's a documentary on TV i watch it. There's so much history buried at the bottom of the ocean!
