Dont even try messing with public web proxies. Chances are, as soon as you find one that works, it will be blocked.

The best way to circumvent web filtering is make your own proxy server using your own home PC.

Install this free software on your home PC http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Other-Internet-Related/Lozdodge.shtml

Once installed, it will give you a URL which you enter into the browser at school. You can then surf via your very own proxy. You can also configure user accounts so that the proxy is secure from the public. You may need to set up some port fowarding on your router but you'll probably only need port 80 (http) and port 443 (ssl) forwarded.

Be aware that the your browsing speed will only be as fast as your home connection's upload speed. So even if you have a 1mb connection, if the upload speed is only 128kb, then thats how fast your proxy surfing experience will be from school.

The other option also known as social hacking requires that you kiss major *** to the school IT dept. Try bringing donuts or cookies. They are usually a good geek social lubricant and may get your user account onto an exclude list for web filtering.

edit::

The kid asked how to bypass the block not should he. Why dont people just stick to answering the question. If you dont have a valid answer, dont reply.

No you don't "need" a way to get around the school block on myspace. You "want" to get around the blocks, because you can't stand being away from your little virtual friends for more than two seconds.

MySpace is not real. It is a virtual world that only exists in cyberspace. Spend some time in the real world. Listen to your teacher. Learn something. Don't worry, you're little virtual life with all your fake friends will be waiting for you when you get home.

No, you don't need a way to get around the school block...for one, it's illegal, for two, you need to be learning instead of playing on myspace. Myspace is a community place, a place where you SHOULD NOT be during your school hours. I know school sucks, but it's best you learn.

Accessing unauthorized web sites with web proxies is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers. Use school computers for school work and myspace will be there when you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyway?

Circumventing internet get entry to administration structures with internet proxies to get entry to unauthorized internet web pages is a contravention of school computing gadget utilization coverage. you could get suspended and/or banned from using college computers once you get stuck. Use college computers for college paintings and myspace will be there once you get homestead. Do you actually pick your instructors and college directors understanding what you're posting on myspace besides?

Why can't you wait untill you get home?
Why can't all you people that want to get on to myspace wait untill you get home? Why do you waste our time? Why can't you stop asking how to get around the block at your school?

It is blocked for a reason. Along time ago I tried that, and found out that you can get in trouble. You don't want to be on the admin's bad side. Trust me. I used to try and do all of those things. It's not worth it. Don't do it. They can monitor what sites you look at anyway. Remember, they can see everything you do on your computer.
