Not sure who you are meeting you must have a very limited scope of friends and people around you. I do as well judge people by appearance but find more often than not I am wrong. But that's me I actually take time to know them and I try not to be so arrogant as to allow my first impression to forever cloud people. But like I said that's just me.

No, don't judge people by appearance. As the old saying goes "You can't judge a book by its cover." Yeah, some people look sleazy sometimes, but I always give everyone a chance.
A good example is a close friend of mine once hired someone who was black. My friend spoke to the person on the phone before the interview and did not know while on the phone that this person was black (no "ghetto" inflictions in his voice). So the black guy shows up to my friend's office, and he appeared to be a stereotypical black thug. He was wearing shabby clothes, and he looked like what some may think of as a gangsta. Though after talking to him, it turned out he was very educated. He also was a great employee. So just because people look a certain way, that isn't always just cause to judge them. At least talk to them first, that's the only sure-fire way of knowing if they're an idiot or not.

Yes. It does say something about a person. But it can be deceiving. Some of the nicest appearing people can be real snakes or can let you down if it means they might break a nail or get a hair out of place. The appearance often only says something about 1 facet of a person's character. I know people that look so chic and fashionable but they are the cheapest baztards and would think two or three times before giving up a quarter to charity.
Nice on the outside isn't always nice on the inside. Sometimes it's just a cover or compensation.

Yes, on first impression I judge by appearance BUT I do not allow my discrimination to interfere with getting to know a person better or interfere with my treating them as I would like to be treated, because I know very well that appearances can be deceiving. The physically attractive person can be nasty and ugly on the inside, but the person with a non-standard physical appearance could be the nicest, warmest, most generous person you'd ever be privileged to meet.

The appearance at the first sight creates some impression about the person.
The way of dressing and their attitude shows the characteristics of that person. It'll speak for them.
Always make the first impression as the best impression by appearing well.

All the time. Everyone does. Most people put a lot of (or at least some) thought into their appearance. Does the guy with the pot leaf on his shirt smoke pot? How about the bum on the street corner, is it safe to assume he's made some bad decisions in his life?

Yes, I certainly do! Sometimes that's good; sometimes that's bad.
For example, suppose I saw a young adult male dressed in all black clothing crouched in the shrubbery outside my house at 3am...I'm going to make a judgment based on his appearance. I could be wrong. He might be the paperboy, and maybe he is retrieving a poorly aimed paper.
But the "judging by appearances" instinct is there for the survival of the species.

Appearance tells a lot about a person. It's not about how beautiful or handsome some is. It's about one's feelings and personality that shows through one's facial and bodily expressions. Most of the time a rude person does look rude. An ambitious personality can be seen in a person's face.
Now you tell me, what do you see in me? ;)

Yeah, I do at times....rather a lot of times. Appearance is the first impression and that makes a big difference.
Later, a lot of times in fact, came to know that the person judged at first appearance was wrongly judged....felt bad too...but still.....human nature....can't leave it.

I guess I judge by appearence however, it takes a little more time to overcome the judgement I make by actually getting to know them. Like you my first impression usually is right on the money. Do try to respect the individual tho' so you will not make a enemy. It is better to be sweet and alof than cynical and "*itchy"
