It is not considered a no hitter. As far as the game is concerned, the Yankees needed someone to pitch into the late innings as that has happened all year until last night. Of course getting injured didn't help. The Yankees are still the best team in baseball and before the season is over they will be in the playoffs as they always are.

I think he did it to one of the only 2 teams in the AL that have a worse record than the Yankees. Look what he did last week. Hey even a blind squirrel gets a nut once in a while.

Oh Yankee dude - the Yankees are not the best team in baseball! They are not even close to being better than Boston. Sorry to burst your bubble - but they will not make the playoffs this year unless Georgie ok's some big trades for pitching.

He didn't throw a no hitter. However he did have a heck of a game until he got hurt.

he didnt throw a no hitter, but he certainly looked good. i think that this is a great start but its sad to see him go down for that long. i hope he is ok and that he can be this good if they need him when he gets better.

He didn't throw a no-hitter. As a matter of fact, he didn't even come close.

I think the bigger story might be that another Yanks pitcher got hurt. I hate the Yankees so at first I thought it was funny when everyone one their staff went to the DL, now I almost feel bad for them. But just lmost, I still hate them.
