but if you delete a question that nobody ever answered, they don't give you your 5 pts back?

because the yahoo peoples dont have anything better to do but take away our points. ;) jk but seriously,that is so not fair that they should take away the 2 points that we got for answering questions.

on the other hand,we can just pick a best answer and leave the question alone.well get more cash and yahoo always deletes the questions sooner or later.

Because you withdrew your answer and the person who asked it didn't have a chance to decide if it was best answer. However, if you ask a question. You have a week so somebody is going to answer it eventually. I wouldn't ever delete one.

You get your five points back if there is no best answer. So don't ask it if you don't want an anwer.

You can not get credit for an item at the shops if you didnt take back the item itself so in the same way you can not get points for an answer which is not there anymore.
