Hitler committed suicide in his bunker in Berlin by shooting himself in the mouth with a pistol. His wife (they had recently married) Eva Braun killed herself by taking poison. This was in May ( I want to say May 6th, but I'm not sure) 1945

Hitler shot himself, but it is possible that he took poison as well. His wife Eva Braun took poison, and Hitler's dog was also poisoned. His body was burned in a small garden directly above the Berlin bunker complex, by his henchmen. The Russians claim to have recovered what few remains of charred bones there were and have shown a piece of his scalp before on TV. I'm not sure if these were later destroyed and buried in a secret location.

Hitler didn't die. He was alive long after the war. Had he drank the poison, then there would have been pictures of his body, but there are none, anywhere. Somebody would have taken a photograph, and then sold it for a lot of money. There are, however, no photographs. (I looked in hundreds of books as a child) Hitler had a job to do and he did it. As loathsome as he was, he did create decades of work for a recession stricken planet. War creates work, ends recession and unemployment and allows rich people to get even richer. The fact that fifty million people died is, as that French fascist says, just a detail of history.

He took a cyanide tablet and then shot himself (he took the poison so he wouldn't feel the pain of being shot), his wife took cyanide. He killed himself because he knew that he would soon be caught and he was too much of a coward to face upto what he'd done, he believe to the last that he was right in his beliefs. Apparently once they were dead he and his wife were burnt by senior SS soldiers, so that the enemy/people wouldn't be able to get hold of his body and defile it as they did with Mussolini.

No. Hitler was an economic genus admired and supported by American industrialists like Henry Ford, Carnegie, John D Rockefeller. Had he not went off the deep end about world domination and the superior race nonsense, he would have went down in history as one of the greatest economic leaders in history. Obama is the opposite of that.

It is alledged that he commited suicide. There is a possiblity that he did poison himslef, but it is recorded that he shot himself in the head.
After his death, it is alledged that his body was burnt oustide of his bunker. When the Russians arrived in Berlin, it is alledged that found part of his charred skull with a bullet hole in it.
This was sent to Russia as proof of Hitlers death.

Glass fragments were found in his mouth after his death, indicating that he had bitten a tube of cyanide. He was so paranoid of being captured by the Russians, before he died, he used his pistol to shoot himself through the mouth.
Eva Braun died of poisoning, beside him.
