Yay marriage!! Happily married for 13 years, 2 kids, a dog, a cat and a house of our own...oh yeah, and we swing. ;)
I won't get the 10, but thanks anyway for the 2 points!

Swinging & swapping has nothing to do with institution of marriage, that’s only the sexual variety few couples are searching in their sex life, it’s their personal liking for such activities nothing to do with the larger concept of marriage. I am not praising or advocating for the marriage institution as you may be thinking while going through my answer to the other question of yours but I only tell you the legal implications coupled with moral, social & religious thoughts regarding marriage & living-in couples.

I have no idea why all that is increasing... But quite honestly, I find it a complete disregard for the entire purpose and harmony of marriage, marriage is about 2 people joined as one.. Not every Tom, Dick and Harry that come through the door and want to hop in the bed with them!
And it is definitely detrimental to the quality of home and family life.

What basis do you have to say they are increasing so? because you're online and see it? That just makes it easier. Can you have a good marriage and family and have swap/swing fun? I think some people do and some don't.

Swinging and swapping does not mean the end of family or marriage. It's about sex.

Some people are so greedy and impulse-driven, and always needing something new to excite them...not realizing they can try different hobbies, open up their minds, be creative and try new things...that do not involve immorality and the possibility of disease and hurting feelings. It is so sad to see people only caring for their fleshly desires...and not even knowing that's not what they really care for. That they're just bored and not living up to their potential.

Because people want their cake and also want to eat it, they want marriage but also still want to fool around, there is no pleasing some folk!!!! It's just not something I would ever consider.

It's a sad trend. I'm happily married, I have 4 children, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It grounds and centers me, makes me feel alive.

Because the "swinger" and "swappers" aren't at home sitting at the computer. Not until they get dumped, and start looking for answers, that is. LOL. Then they end up here and get their fingers burnt.
