I was an operations manager with a company and was removed from the position with the reason that I lack inter-personal skills, as well as that I had been at the same location for too long. I had good annual reviews up until this point. There was no documentation stating that I was not performing to expectations, nor was I given an opportunity to perform at the expectation level. My pay was decreased to the level it was at prior to my promotion to Operations Manager. I was then assigned to work with the current weekend shift supervisor, which I did. I was then assigned to go to Fort Wayne, IN to help with another account. I have done this for 8 weeks. I am now being told that if I do not accept a supervisor position at another of our sites, then my employment will be ended with the company. I would receive 9 weeks of severance pay (one week for every year of service).

Do I have a case for wrongful termination in the state of IL or should I just take the severance and run?

Better consult a lawyer then. From what u said, it seems like the management has something personal against you and really go to measures to get you. Sorry to hear that u actually wasted 9 years of your effort with this company.

there is not any longer something you're able to do. Your rather violation isn't utilising uninsured - this is utilising without info of coverage in hand. Which, you probably did no longer have. So the fee ticket is valid. possibly, you probably did no longer PAY the fee ticket, which replaced into valid, and then your license have been given suspended for no longer paying the fee ticket. you're no longer likely to get this suspension lifted, and HIS coverage organization shouldn't supply you info of HIS coverage. whether they did, it does not nullify the fee ticket. So, you will desire to pay the fee ticket & previous due expenditures, pay the suspension expenditures, turn on your license, wait out the suspension, after which you would be able to get your license lower back. Sorry. you are able to not forget approximately tickets once you get them. you purely can no longer.

If you're a white male, you probably don't have a case.
