The premise of which was that one might be able to evaluate a person by the way they ask and answer questions on the site. The Question has now been removed! I am no expert and in all honesty would not lose sleep over anything if i could help it, but, why would someone remove such a `question?` is this site not about learning and understanding others from various walks of life and cultures? Baffled, Hey, heres a thought.. can the person who pulled it answer this, FOR ONCE?

Sometimes this site seems more like a popularity contest than anything else. You must have rubbed someone the wrong way.

Moderation on Y!A appears to be out of control.

From the huge volume of Q&A data it's plain that it would take hundreds of operators working 24/7 to do it properly - with at least some investigation in each case. Instead it seems to operate like someone with a bucket at the base of Niagara.

I suspect that different admins have adopted different strategies to cope with the impossible task: some are just deleting every Q that is reported. Others are skimming through topics and zapping anything that they don't like the look of. Others apply their own personal standards without reference to democracy or free speech.

Perhaps this is incorrect, and all that is done is following a logic of its own that is not visible to us ordinary mortals. I don't believe the TOS is the yardstick, though.

"that one might be able to evaluate a person by the way they ask and answer questions"

And would it then follow, that an adverse opinion, of the "person", not the "subject", be injected into a response?

The police got to you, too. Lately a lot of stuff going on that does not make sense. I am here for fun, but the fun has been zapped out of me.
