Am I not going far enough?

I'm 19 and I could never do it without having it pop out at me an hour later.

I have those with the applicator - Pearl - and I find it easy going in, but when I push on the applicator to launch the rocket, it kinda starts getting uncomfortable... like it's stuck, won't go any farther, it rubs... so I just ease it out while easing out the applicator.

Weird, huh. Help?

Definitly not in far enough!

Maybe practice inserting it far enough by using some form of lubrication. You also need to sort of push at a downward angle....rather than directly upwards.

Good luck : )

If it's far enough in, it won't come out without pulling on the string. You also won't be able to feel it.

If it's really hard to get the tampons in, you could use a little bit of water-based lube on the end of the tampon. I have that problem toward the end of my period.

You might mention it to your doctor, especially if you're still a virgin. Some women have a thicker hymen than others and that could be the problem.

i found when i first starting using tampons i had the same problem what worked for me was starting at a less absorbancy(like a regular or light) and i worked my way up to a super then a superplus. and i was not a virgin when i started to use them just for reference.
it takes a few periods for your body to adjust to the size of the tampon if that doesnt work talk to your doc you may have vaginal swelling

It isn't in far enough. It will be a bit uncomfortable when you put it in, but you should get used to that feeling after a bit.

not in far enough, readjust the positioning of it too. It will feel a little weird going in but once you've got it in right, you won't even know it's there :)

No. The spot you are hitting you kind of have to maneuver around then push in more.
