It depends on the time of year! If it's a serious date, restaurant. If it's for a fun day out, then I would opt for the picnic.

A restaurant!
I think that picnics always sound more romantic than they end up being! The food gets warm, you feel self conscious if there's lots of people around you, bees attack you, flies attack you, spiders and ants crawl over you and you have to clean out the hamper when you get home because there's bits of leftover food everywhere!
In a restaurant you can just concentrate on talking to your loved one whilst being served lovely food that you could never cook yourself and not having to worry about being attacked by insects of the underworld!
I love going to a restaurant with my boyfriend because we get to spend some real quality one on one time together.

Definitely a picnic. We wouldn't have the interuptions of the wait staff or the distractions of other guests, so it would be more romantic. That way, we can get touchy feely and not worry about people watching.

Well as summer is coming, i hate bugs, so i would have to chose the restaurant. But i would rather the picnic without bees, bugs and spiders though. x

meal at a restaurant, picnics are nice but im afraid of flies spiders butteerflies etc so i wouldnt be able to relax.
