3000gt engine swap???

Question

i have a 3000gt 1995 non twin turbo.. i'm a girl and i know A LITTLE about cars.. i REALLY wanted the vr-4 twin turbo version of my car but couldn't find one in my area, and i really needed a car to get to and from work/college.. plus my brother owned a '93 vr-4 twin turbo and i was TOTALLY in love with it. anyways.. i found a vr-4 twin turbo engine... can i swap it with mine or.. is that pretty much impossible.

Yes...It can be done.
No....it wont be easy.
You have to change over ALL the turbo stuff on the engine, plus computer swap. Not to mention the stress it gonna put on your automatic transmission...you might want to grab the 5-speed Tranny out of the one your getting the engine from...lol....and thats just for starters....but what do I know...i've only built 7 of em...(6G72 engines, stealths, same car)...And I've yet to find one single new part for that engine for under a hundred dollars....

Well you have 2 routes. they are both hard. the first is putting the turbos right into the engine( both the SL and VR4 have the same engine), but you would have to really do alot of electronic computer work( that can be a pain if you don't know what to do) or just swap the engine( which takes alot of time and money)

Go on line to sell your car and look for the best example of the 300gt vr-4 as always buy the very best example you can don't forget the dodge stelth. There are plenty of good sports cars other than Mitsubushi.

would be a good swap,and a big job. you will need the turbo computer,wiring harness,exhaust,radiator and other plumbing.would be better if you could get a front cut with every thing in it.
