I have never had a job before so how does this apply to me?

It's a common question on a job application. They want to know what you're already good at that might have value to them, something you can do that they don't need to teach you. Some examples might be "type 50 wpm, take dictation, friendly telephone manner with good diction, make excellent coffee, knowledge of common office computer software, filing skills".
