The amusement park voted the best in the world for 9 consecutive years by the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards (highest award in the amusement industry) is Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. They feature a world-record 17 coasters, several of them holding positions on the Amusement Today Top 50 Steel Coasters List for 2006. They feature the world's second tallest and fastest roller coaster Top Thrill Dragster.
In my opinion 3 parks reign superior to all others in terms of rides, Cedar Point, Six Flags Great Adventure, and Six Flags Magic Mountain. They all feature an outstanding amount of highly regarded rides and remain some of the most popular parks in the country.

If you're on the east coast of the US then I would recommend Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA.
Not only is it a beautiful park it has some great roller coasters and thrill rides.
On May 25th their latest coaster opens up. It's called THE GRYFFON", It's 205 feet up and then drops 90 degrees straight down and then hits a double loop before climbing up again. And you ride with no floor, standing up, suspended in your seat! They say it will hit speeds of 75 mph and pull 4 G's. I was there two weeks ago and watched as they were testing it...I can't wait for it to open!

Bush Gardens and the different Six Flags parks all have good thrill rides but the most thrill rides with the most record breakers would probably be Cedar Point. at one point or another they have had the tallest and fastest roller coaster. its in Ohio and probably your best bet for just thrill rides.

Depends on where you are in the world. If in Australia the best place for rides would be Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. The best rides at Dreamworld are - The Giant Drop, Tower of Terror, The Claw, The Cyclone and The Wipeout - these are considered the "Big 5" thrill rides at Dreamworld. I have been on them all and they are all great fun.

I would suggest Cedar Point because it has the Top Thrill Dragster. It is the tallest coaster in the world at 420 ft high. It is also the second fastest at a top speed of 120mpr. It is in Ohio.

I just got back from my choir tour to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and there is nothing there that I saw. But, on the way back home, we passed through Virgina, and went to an awesome amusement park called King's Dominion. It has, I believe, ten roller coasters. Everything from bobsled, to standing, to hanging, to wooden, even one over a lake. But, the best one was the Hypersonic one, it was really fast, and you shoot almost straight up into the air!
