The following players have already announced their decision to retire:

1) Glen McGrath
2) Inzamam-ul-Haq
3) Brian Lara
4) Anil Kumble.
5) Russel Arnold.

Glen Mc Grath and Anil Kumble havenot announced their retirement from Test Cricket.

No other player has announced their retirement after the world cup.

These players got to retire for the good of cricket but iam sure they will not.
1.sachin tendulkar.
2.harbjan
3.Irfan Pathan.
4.Graeme smith.
5Pollock.
6.vaas
7.Vaughan .
All this above mentioned players are not good enough to play one day cricket based on their performances.

well Mcgrath is retiring for sure, and so are anil kumble, and brian lara.

I hope that Hayden, Ponting, gilchrist, sanath jayasuriya, and shaun tait retire.

I really hope that Ganguly, Dravid, Sachin (not that much), and Harbhajan dont quit.

in the next 2-3 years we are going to see matty hayden, punter ponting, adam gilchrist and brad hogg. there are too many players from other teams that will be retireing soon too - i cant think of one off the top of my head, but i was thinking about it whilst watching the final
