you need to embed a microprocessor core into the FPGA first, and then I think implementing it would be the same as any micro.

Just a note. As a software dude, I never liked the idea of having the micro embedded in a FPGA! I think you are better off leaving it seperate. And from a cost point of view I dont think there is any benefit to soft core micro's. There is a lot of up front cost, and then you hope it works after you put all of the other logic in the FPGA.

Hi Maggi,

I don't think you can implant a real time operating system on a field programmable gate array.
