I have often seen, even Top Contributors, with only a few miserable answers. However sometimes, I have re-read my question and thought, hummm-- it was a bit zany, no wonder it was mostly ignored. I am aware that different times of the day or week affects the replies, but I am not bothered to chase points. I just write what I want, when I want. How about you?

Yeah, that's annoying!
Also when you leave a really good answer and the question goes to a vote, I've noticed a lot of the voters just vote for the answer at the top, just so they can get a point. So the good answers never get voted as best answer if they are further down the page.

Sorry to hear this. I guess you are right that replies can depend on the time of day or week. Also, the attraction to the question being asked.

No answerers doesn't mean no love. They still love ya, it's just that the question wasn't their cup of tea.
Some days I hardly get any mail. But that's not because the people don't love me, it's just that they've got nothing to say to someone else that day.

Yeah I do. I asked the other day who loved David Gest
and got 7 answers!! I was shocked - I thought more than
7 people would like Daivid Gest.

can be a bit frustrating sometimes when all you want to do is get people to think about the answer they need to give.
perhaps thinking is a little too hard & that's why they hang out in Beauty & Style....or Politics ?
