Which should I choose, a standard or director account for youtube?

I'm trying to create an account to upload videos that I made to show my friends. I am mostly going to upload videos about my day at my job at the liquor store and some funny videos to show my myspace friends. Which type of account should I choose, standard or director? Please help I really want a youtube account.

The Director account is for video authors, so use it.

Go with standard, you can change it to director later if you really need it.
