what are the best questions to ask when you want to know a person better?

i have this friend that i've just met this year. We've become close in a way but it still feels as though we don't really know each other.

Does anyone know any good and interesting (but not too personal) questions i could ask when i want to have a 'real' conversation with that person?

2. I'm thinking about changing my hair colour to (whatever), what do you think? Will I look like a clown? (yes, if you picked green with pink ends)

3. what's the weirdest pizza topping you ever tried? (you find out if this person is secretly obese or anorexic)
4. have you ever sky-dived? (you find out if this person is boring)
5. where would you like to take a vacation? (you find out if this person is happy with his/her current job)
6. wanna f*ck? (just kidding!)
7. hey let's go to (dealership) and test drive that new (sexxxxxy car/bike)!! (you find out if this person is experimental)
8. what was your dream last night? (you find out if this person is spiritual)
9. damn I'm hungry! what about you? (hey, great minds think alike!)

11. do you know any good blonde jokes? (again, fun is primal in any relationship)
12. OMG! (then the other person is like "what?!") Ohh nothing, I just wanted to see how you'd react

If you want we can talk about food instead (trust me, you'll get a response when you start going all cross-eyed and wildly licking your lips and tilty your head savagely side to side!)

I think that you don't want to be too cheezy. There is nothing worse.

Keep it simple, I think that the best way to know a person is to find out about their background (family, past interests etc). Then on to the present (are they still into the same things, what enthuses them)

You will then get to the core of the person.

Talk about each other's family members. This will give the idea about the temperament and attitude of the person. It is ultimately how one reacts which gives the real one. Replies to Some nagging questions gives the idea of one's attitude

ask him the following questions:
1)what quality you found in me that you became my friend?
2)what do you think about having families?(this will let you know about his family background)
3)most importantly ask him about his educational qualifications........
