I would have my own personal scent because you would be able to make it smell like your personality and how you want it to.No one would have one like it.if someone asked you where you got it cause they like it they would not be able to get it.you would be the special one.

I once had a very expensive "personal scent consultation" in NYC and the scent mixed for me was unbelievable! The cost is too prohibitive to repeat often, though.
The perfume I usually wear is a "ready made" but it's not available at every shop - just a few exclusive ones. It's still a small fortune, but more affordable than the other option.

I think i would go for the personal perfume. Peoples taste varies such a lot it is difficult to find a perfume that really says what you want to say about yourself. It is nice to have something that stands out from the crowd.
Perfumes smell different on different people anyway so it would have to be one designed especially for me rather than someone elses design.
I think the idea of personalised scents from celebrities are ok but they are designed by that person and wont be the same on everyone so if you try to copy someone by wearing it it does not work.

I would Love to have a personal perfume that some how combined the essence of the Sun, Ocean and strawberries ;-) Until then, I'm stuck buying what other people think makes a good sent. In which there r some good ones.

A personal scent is always nice because you can fix whatever you don't necessarily like about a fragrance to suit you. But a nice thing about buying one from the shop is that if someone else is wearing the perfume as they walk by your significant other in the mall, it'll remind them of you! I wear Chanel Chance and my fiance is always saying he smelled someone wearing my perfume and he thought of me.
