I guess for some people it might be a give take sort of thing. Finding the right person will mean that you don't have to sacrifice like the song says to.
I guess if you are one to fancy movies or songs, then love is a hate, love sort of thing,
but real life, we are not movie stars, we just love each other and make due with what we have.
