When I think of "little things", I take it as something to be somewhat trivial.
With that said, I would have to say that I take dusting furniture for granted. I often complain about having to dust, but I should be greatful that I have furniture to collect dust on. Some people don't even have that luxury.

Don't ever take any thing for granted in your life.
Before accepting anything understand the reason, science or facts behind it. research into the statistics behind accepting or rejecting it based on ur experiences.
Ofcourse some things like birth/ death / fate/ destiny come without our knowledge. Only they can be taken for granted. Ofcourse they are not small things...........

Being fortunate enough to stay at home every day and not have to work outside of my home...The fact that my husband is a very hard worker, and great provider. I DO appreciate it, but I think SOMETIMES, we forget HOW IMPORTANT those things REALLY are! =)

My cell phone. I paid the bill today, but it was shut off anyway--3 hours after I paid it. I went into a little tizzy b/c it's my lifeline to friends & family.

Hot showers! I caught myself complaining one day when the hot water service was playing up, and then I thought, damn it, I'm lucky to have clean, safe water to begin with, let alone hot as well...
