I know this is a lot but I'e got three problems I can't figure out and it would be great if someone could help me!

1. 10, 000 chocopops are eaten every minute. How many will be eaten in the year 2001? (Give your answer in scientific notation)

2. Solve algebraically the equation tan40=2sinx+1 (I don't know how to do it with tan AND sin in there)

3. The electrical resistance, R of copper wire varies directly as its length, L metres, and inversely as the square of its diameter, d millimetres.
Two lengths of copper wire, A and B have the same resistance.
Wire A has a diameter of 2 millimetres and a length of 3 metres.
Wire B has a diameter of 3 millimetres.
What is the length of wire B?

Hi,

1. 10, 000 chocopops are eaten every minute. How many will be eaten in the year 2001? (Give your answer in scientific notation)

10,000 chocopops x 60 minutes/hour x 24hours/day x 365 days/year = 5.256*10^9

2. Solve algebraically the equation tan40=2sinx+1 (I don't know how to do it with tan AND sin in there)

I assume you are in degrees for this.

tan ( 40 degrees) = .8391, so .8391 = 2sin(x) + 1
-.1609 = 2 sin(x)
-.08045 = sin(x)
sin^-1(-.08045) = -4.614 degrees or 355.4 degrees in quadrant IV It could also be 184.6 degrees in quadrant III

R = kL/D^2

For A, R = kL/D^2 becomes R = k*3/2^2 and for B, it becomes R = k*L/3^2. Since they have the same resistance, then k*3/2^2 = k*L/3^2. Simplifying, this becomes:
3/4 = L/9 Multiplying by 9, 27/4 = L, so wire B has a length of 6 3/4 metres.

I hope that helps!! :-)

hi 14 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old man or woman. At 14 and there abouts physic skills and reports can heighten. Many brush it off or get frightened of it in the journey that they don't seem in an surroundings the position such is acceptted and experienced. I wager this seeing the useless might want to get overwhelming. you want to prepare putting limits and speaking with your ghosts . you're not any more an oddball. even though it would want to sense that way. James made a good suggestion. And, attempt going to MeetUps and seem for metaphysical, rieki, esp, therapeutic communities. Many exist and characteristic conferences the position you could meet others that talk an similar or similiar language. seem for and attend some close by physic fairs. some persons there'll be searching to promote a service or product yet maximum will be interesting to communicate with. With Meetups or such you may want to commence your own crew to collect different children and mystics to communicate over issues, invite audio equipment , attempt, share reading textile. and note how your ghost ability will be usefull, mutually with the way it serves you. As in time-honored life some ghosts are positive persons and some are truly no longer; be selective . Make your instinct keener so that you'll be able to experience at the same time as someone will attempt to misuse you and those few you may want to fulfill. Heck. attempt Craigslist for communities. thousands are indexed and that i have discovered Craigslist to be incredibly usefull. good journey.

the 2nd one is very easy find the value of tan40, then minus 1 from it then u will divide by 2 and find the x. and x will be equal to -4.614
