What PC Spec could I build with a budget of around £700ish?

Question

I would like to know like the what sort of ram I could expect to get, processor, graphics card, hardrive etc, the usual stuff. The PC is to be built mainly for gaming so if anyone has suggestions as to what Kind of stuff I could be getting that would be great, its just a tower as well I want.

come up with a checklist of the parts you know you want then go to mwave.com or newegg.com and see what you can get.

Case ($50 - 150)
Power Supply ($50 - 200)
CPU ($100 - 400)
Hard Drive (how many do you want) ($60 - 150 each)
CD/DVD Drive (How many do you want) ($25 - 50 each)
RAM (Completely depends on what you want)
Video Card (8800 GTS is about $289)
Operating System (XP Pro is $130)

then there is also KB, mouse, and monitor if you dont have one, as well as a sound card if you want, and any new cooling devices you might want.

Look at the budget box and hot rod in the link below. Modify it (case, monitor, speakers, etc.) to suit your taste.
