He kills you everytime in the playoffs and it doesn't get old. Rasheed Wallace learned the hard way in the 2005 NBA Finals. When will they learn? No one double teamed Jordan late in the game and we know what he's done in the past. I just don't understand what the coaches are saying to their players but when you see Robert Horry, a.k.a Big shot Bob, come into the game, you follow him everywhere, even to the restroom. Do you agree?

I think Robert Horry is one of those quiet NBA players and plus his teammates are better than him so opposing players tend to forget Horry when there are other players to watch out for like Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker.

its true though, you can never leave Robert Horry alone..especially during the 4th quarter when the game is on the line. I dont understand though...you know damn well Horry is going to sink the shot. I guess the coaches dont care if he scores? i don't know..but you need to follow him everywhere, maybe even the restroom like you said lol.

it was never a coaches decision to leave horry , MJ or any player for that matter , open... MJ ended up open or in single just like Horry because of the offensive play run , their rotation off screens or to an open spot...or because there was a skip pass to them from across the court...horry always had a way of rotating off screens and finding his way to the three point line with the shot clock running down...I know this because I got to watch some of his finest work in person...those two series against the Kings in back to back years had to be some of the most clutch 3 point shooting in all playoff history, his 3s kept us from getting eliminated at least three games...

to be honest, in that situation, human nature will tell you to guard everyone moving on the court. so when moving through screens and everyone watching the ball rather than the person their guarding(human nature).. and horry after setting a screen or something just waits for the ball then swishes it. the way i see it, horry was never a first option on crucial plays, he is simply almost always at the right place(free) and time(enough to shoot a 3). and his team mates always finding him.

You focus on star players during crunch time, guys like Kobe, Wade, Gordan- Who can make big-time shots. Hence, you have to pay less attention to non-star players and Horry is a non-star player. Sometimes you forget that Horry can hit big shots and there you have him make them.

its not that they try to leave him open. but he always plays the power forward position, and power forwards and centers are always taught to protect the basket. so if they see someone getting to the basket, their natural instinct draws them there to block the shot, and all the person with the ball has to do is kick out to horry cuz hes open. but you would think teams would learn its better to give up 2 than 3...

The opposing team is so caught up with the superstars, so when they drive in or have the ball, they are focused on helping out. Im sure they've talked about it in the huddle, but players will get caught in the moment.

Robert Horry is well known as one of the leagues biggest taunters.

Routine conversations go as follows:

Horry: " Don't guard me unless you scared, punk"
Defender: " No, I'm not scared"
Horry: " Why you guarding me then?"
Defender: " I dunno coach told me to"
Horry: " Nah, you scared you little scared punk crybaby"
Defender: "Nunt uh!!! "
Horry: " Prove it then!"
Defender: "Fine!"
(Horry catches ball and instaswishes wide open 3 pointer with ease)
Horry: " You just got Jayed in yo eye"
