I like how some of the GS fans seem to have a clue! And maybe I am biased, cuz I am have seen some dumb *** Mavs fans out there as well! But really, no one lucked out per say. The Mavs started off at like 91% midway throught the first, and GS was cold. Methodically the Warriors made their push, getting hot, while the MAvs really cooled! Gs plays on spurts, 2-3 3's in a row with a steal here and there and next you know, they are on 12-0 run. The foul cry's are gettting annoying as well. The refs do not control the outcome of the game. The techs, rather some unjust are equal in both manners. Ask about the Stack tech to end the half? Anyone see much there? Or did you even see it? I agree the calls are ticky tac, but they are going really both ways! The Mavs finally started and finished a game strong, much like they have all year. The thing that gets them, and it did in the reg season, the Warriors make them pay for it, is the in between, closing periods or halfs have been tough to watch! I just wish the Warriors would lose with some pride and humble themselves! Its always excuses, like Mavs got lucky, refs blew it. I mean come on, your team gave up a 15-0 run to end the game, your superstar wouldnt take a shot, JRich made some poor choices, you turned the ball over, etc...Yea maybe GS blew the game but thats the way it goes! I know your standing up for your team as you should, but quit making excuses. Its a great series, real good for basketball and we should all enjoy what we are seeing! GL GS

And nickster, to say Dirk cant do that on the road is absurd! Did you watch the game 7 in SA last yr. Sorry Spurs fans to even mention, but he was pretty big. And the take down on Terry was no worse then a great flop, I know Terry grabbed him but Davis took a hefty fall! He is too damn big to get body slammed! No worse then when Barnes goes and slams into someone after a whistle?

You know what; it pained me to watch how the game went and it also pains me to say this, but the Mavs didn't luck out.

They outscored the Warriors by 10 in the first quarter to get the ball rolling (no pun intended), they kept it close in the second and third quarters and finished strong in the end by outscoring the Warriors 15-0. When a team starts off strong but can't hold a lead to the end, it's not as much the other team lucking out as it is our team not defensively sound enough to hold on to the lead. They were up by six until late in the fourth and lost. It's not over, they can still win it but I think in order for that, they need to really work on coverting posessions into high percentage shots, minimizing turnovers, and fouling less so they don't keep giving leads away.

It's great they made it to the playoffs, it's great they're competitve with the Mavs, but having played them as well as they did in the regular season, if they come so far, and don't beat them it's pointless.

Dang Kevin- i agree. The Mavs are lucky considering they started the game scoring 13 out of their first 15 tries and the Warriors went through a stretch where they missed 10 straight shots. All that and they were up 9.

Dirk came out of no-where but there is no way he can do that on the road. The Warriors were sloppy with the ball (too many turnovers) and losing Baron in the end hurt them too.

The Warriors better take care of business Thursday night though. It's still pretty entertaining but the Mavs are done- you can see it in there eyes.

Go Warriors!

What's up with Jason Terry's takedown of Baron Davis?

I'm no Mavs fan... but I watched the game, and it seemed to me that during the 4th quarter, the Warriors really lost their edge - and I don't mean just the last five minutes. I mean that even when they were knocking down all those threes... that's all they did, pass the ball around the perimeter and then try for a three. There was no penetration or cutting to the basket for a layup or interior passing or off the ball movement. I think this hurt them because during the final few minutes, they relied on the three shot and it didn't go down. Anyone else agree or disagree?

Go Spurs (but I'm rooting for Golden State in this one).

I am in the same boat as you are and was thinking about posting this. How could they come back from 21 down only to get ouscored 15-0 in the last 5 minutes. That is impossible, when they went up 112-103 i thought it was over I was calling people and then all the sudden Dirk woke up and pulled some shots out his *** (like he did all year) and the Mavs ended up winning. The only upside I can see in this is that the series is going back to Golden State so they can wrap up this awesome upset at home!!
