Why does it seem so sneaky to me to add pork on to a bill making everyone believe its?

for one thing only . When in reality there are things attached that dont even pertain to the bill.

I think we need to change politics in its present form ! Its time!

As a Moderate Dem, I'm ashamed of them. But eh, it's politics.

You would be hard pressed to find even one bill that is passed in Congress or the Senate that does not have some add on provisions attached to it. This goes for Repub as well as Dem sponsored bills. That is the nature of politics.

Almost every bill has pork. The republicans added pork to every spending bill for the troops over the last 4 years. Now, they are making a big deal about it. I agree that it is wrong. The reason it is done is that certain congressmen/senators refuse to vote for the bill unless they get something in return for their constituents. So in this case, the dems had to agree to add these items in order to get the bill passed.

I hate to tell you this... but if you do your research, you will find pork added to bills since the begining of the US (and other governments)
