I agree the democrats have no intention of pulling troops out of Iraq! Its just a ploy to get things stirred up for the coming elections and get millions for pork barrel!

Yes. That is the only way the Democrats could bribe their members to sign that ridiculous, un-American and un-Constitutional bill. The Democrats are making a political statement to their base supporters but mark my words, they have no intention of ever cutting the funding for real. Even if we are still in Iraq and a Democrat becomes Commander-in-Chief they will not cut the funding nor will they pull out immediately.

This is all for show.

of course it was. nothing ever really gets done without a little sprinkling of pork.

the daily show pointed out there was something like 76 million added to it for peanut storage. votes had to be bought. it's just the way things work.

a lot of the pork was used to buy republican votes, by the way.
