i'm administrator and i have about 15 computer and want to make FTP between us so I can put any folder in ftp and any one of 15 computers can see it and download it .... i have windows XP and all are the same

u need to install IIS - Internet Information Services on ur windows XP.

then u need to select the folder u wanted to share in the FTP server, if u go to my computer right click then manage and IIS.

You dont need FTP if these are LOCAL computers. All you need to do is share the folder which contains the files you want everyone to "see". Once that folder is shared everyone will have access from Network Places and can just click on it and open it.

You can also use FTP applications, such as Pumpkin search for Pumpkin for example and download the softrware on all PC's afterwards you can put the folder or file you want on the server and from the user side ask them to get it using get icon. to sum up all your need is :
1) download and install FTP application.
2) PUT the file on the FTP application you installed.
3) Provide the IP address for the PC (source) to the users.
4) GET the file.

You are better off creating a shared folder on each or one of the machines. You can then just view that folder in your network places from any other machine and use it as if it was on your own.
