I haven't smoked in like three days. Ok, I have been sick. But three days. I should get like a medal. Ok, maybe not a medal, but how about a kind word of encouragment cause right now I must be feeling better......it's gettin hard. I'm not sure I want to have another cig.

These are all great answers and I can't choose one. I'll let the community do that. But I did want to give a hearty THANK-YOU TO EVERYONE!

WOW!!! That's great! You should feel very proud of yourself -- 3 days without a cigarette is a terrific accomplishment.

That is great that you haven't smoked in 3 days. Think of your health, more people would like to be around you. No more bad breath. I have been trying to get my husband to quite. Look you have already gotten started, just keep up the great work. You will benefit from this in the long run. Go and get the patch or get some gum. Try Wal-mart or even Walgreen's. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

That's nearly beating the record! A friend of mine did this one too, he was a such an everyminute-smoker. And now, he really stopped smoking.

Quiting smoking is such good news! Keep up the good work and i believe that you can really stop smoking. Don't think about the next stick of cigs you're getting in a few minutes, but think about the future, if you're going to break your personal record, what bad could happen?

Everyone is so amazed at you doing your best in throwing that habit away. Keep up!

I'm proud of you. I know how hard it is to quit something you think you need so bad, but even just for a few days gives your lungs a chance to really breathe again. It can be done to quit cold turkey, but don't give up on yourself if things don't work out. There's many different ways to get to the finish line - you'll find yours!
