its been about 5 days. is there ANY way i could still get caught? maybe im just paranoid. but im so worried that one day im going to get a call at school telling me to go to the office. and there are going to be police there and my parents are going to disown me. yes this is probably a guilt trip. but with my karma all out of whack. i dunno. can this happen?

i mean they couldnt possibly have a way to track me down, especially if it was in a mall and it wasnt obvious at all. like i didnt walk out with different earings on.

how long should i give it before i just take my guilt, but not worry about getting caught?

oh and, i will NEVER EVER EVER do this again. especially because of the "im going to pee my pants everytime the phone rings in class, or the security guard stops in to class" feeling.

yes i know. and i appreciate the honesty. but it was in a dressing room and for all they know, i just left them in there. and plus, its not like the mall who attracts thousands of people by the day even those from different states, could pinpoint me from a fuzzy video camera and somehow track me down...right? and to be honest. i didnt do anything suspicious. i grabbed the earings and went upstairs to try on some clothes. as if i was going to purchase them. but lets just say, it was a stupid peer pressure thing that im too old for. and i never want to do it again.

yeah im probably just messing myself up. im actually a pretty good kid, my grades arent perfect but i plan on having a decent, successful future. this just little mishap occured and unfortunately, it brought bad things with it. (i have bad karma) and getting caught, even if it isnt a bad punishment, would force my parents to probably send me away. thanks for the answers. it really calmed me down, but yes i still feel guilt. and i understand thats good.

Please listen to me. I know and you know what you did was wrong. If you are afraid of your parents, then let me walk you back to that store and take the earrings back to them.

It is the right thing to do and will ease your own guilt trip so much. My parents would have grounded me for several weeks, but by your statement, you seem to know that what you did was wrong.

Please take the earrings back. It sounds like you have a great family that could have easily bought them, so doing the right thing is very important.

Take them back to the store and offer to pay for them out of your allowance money. You have learned about a guilty conscience, so hopefully it won't happen again, yes?

Or do I have to tell your parents? lol I'm just kidding, my daughter is around your age, I like being fun.

It has been a week. Chances are you are not going to get caught 20.00 earrings are not a priority for the loss prevention department of a store. However do not push you you luck and make this a habit to steal. If you really feel the need to confess get a diary or go to confession (cathloic chruch thing). Just get on with your life you can not undo what has already been done. Just don't wear those earrings to the store you stole them from.

Ur just trippin.
They probably dont even know its u.
The only thing they might know is that its missing.
Just dont get caught, or u will have it on ur record for the rest of ur life if ur over 18. Then u'll be miserable trying to find a job.
Dont bring it back either. Ur juut asking for punishment if u do.
just enjoy what u stole for now, and dont do it again.
Since ur trippin like this, stealing is not for u. ur suppose to enjoy the thrill.
Just pay for it. Dont steal.
If u cant afford it, u have no business wearing it.
You're just fooling yourself.
And yes, karma happens.

Guilt is a good thing. It is your minds way of teaching you a lesson. Let it take its course. If you didnt feel guilty, you would probably keep stealing, and eventually get caught and possibly ruin your life. Be grateful for that guilt. It could save your butt by preventing you from repeating the same mistake.

Put the earrings in an envelope and mail it back to the department store with an apology note. You where bless this time. If you think you're to always get away with it everytime, there's a lot of kids like in the juve who thought the same way. Don't go to that store for awhile you might of been tape on camera.

God Bless

You obviously have been brought up well and listened to adults' lessons about living at peace with others and yourself. Congratulations. Not much chance you will get caught now, but you've already punished yourself. Why not give them to charity? If you wear them, you will probably always think of the mistake you made and beat yourself up about it. By the way, if you ask most adults and they are honest, they probably will have a story just like yours in their past. If you never-never-never will do it again, it's a lesson well learned.

To ease your mind, i would take them back.
Just say you were gonna buy it, then someone called your cell, and you walked out with out even thinking & now want to return them.

Or just keep them and never walk into that mall again,

Like the other poster said; malls have cameras in places that we don't even know - not all camera's are seen to the public eye..

It's good you learn't your lesson and won't do it again..
Stealing is bad - Karma will get'cha in the a@@ for stealing.

perfect now - you'll favor better than $three hundred for a bike keep motorcycle. to respond to the question... To the newbie, you may want to not observe the version between a $one hundred Wally international particular & a $500 or $a million,000 motorcycle from a authentic motorcycle keep immediately away. and that is a shame. I see many gleaming comments on cheap keep internet internet sites for those less costly motorcycles. maximum human beings will write a evaluation both the same day or shortly after determining to purchase a cheap motorcycle. i might want to opt to bypass back a 12 months later & see what they imagine of that similar motorcycle if that is ridden on an wide-spread or merely about on a daily basis foundation. it really is even as issues get up. That less costly unmarried walled rim (rear wheel) with a freewheel hub might want to initiate popping spokes left & perfect - exceptionally with an over-weight man or woman. the less costly derailleurs initiate skipping gears & not shifting perfect - each from time to time merely because of a stretched cable - each from time to time because the derailleur itself is shot in decrease than a 12 months. Saddles or seats? maximum cheap keep motorcycles comprise negative saddles. Then they promote those Bell Gel saddle replacements that are even worse. To a human being that only rides a pair of times a month, a chit keep motorcycle might want to be ok. For those human beings that vacation on a daily basis...you may want to not provide me a chit keep motorcycle. in short - you get what you pay for. evaluate it to determining to purchase a small vehicle. that are you able to fairly really have...a Chevy Cobalt or a three series BMW?

Take em back, set them on the counter and walk away, or better yet, fess up to it.

A good person would never have stolen them, but a good person sometimes faultiers, and its a great person that goes back and admits what they did and takes the punishment, even when they say they will never do it again.
