One day when I was in high school in Massachusetts there was this terrific BOOM!!! It was so loud that a desk actually fell over and some people screamed. We couldn't figure out what had caused it, there was no explosion nearby or anything.

The next day it was in the newspapers... Believe it or not, we had heard Sky Lab take off IN FLORIDA!! There was some sort of atmospheric phenomena that allowed the sound to bounce all the way up the coast.

Strange, huh?

I was working as a volunteer for the local Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon one year when I was a teenager doing pre-show work when my director asked me to take a sickle and flog down a field that had to have been 2 acres. I told him that I would but, could I please go to lunch first. He agreed and I left for lunch. On my way to lunch I saw a guy filling his tank at a gas station pulling a bush hog and I stopped to ask him if he would like to donate a few minutes of his time and the use of his bush hog to cut down a couple acres of high grass (I was pretty ballzy back then). The man agreed and followed me back to the hotel/studio were the show was to be. My director came out and told him what to do just as though we had hired him to show up and he was late getting there (my director was a little more ballzy than I was I guess).

Later on my director asked me to get back in touch with "my friend" that he wanted some more acreage cut and I told him that I had just asked a total stranger if he would help us out. We made announcements on the telethon and not only did that guy not call or show up, no one with a bush hog ever called or showed up to help and that was 30 years ago when everyone in the world was so helpful to one another.

I strive to bring those days back someday (yeah, I know, I'm just a dreamer now, aren't I?).

Yeah you kinda have been given the thought, staring / making eye touch with a woman does no longer advise the guy likes her. In MY attitude, it could advise 3 issues: a million. the guy is comfortable conversing to the lady, and is comfortable together with her presence around (basically pals). I a lot of pals that are women and that i constantly make eye touch as quickly as I refer to them, it is basically informal u kno? 2. the guy needs to fulfill the lady / is interested in her (acquaintance). the two that, or... the lady is extraordinary-looking or gruesome lol. yet nonetheless, adult adult males does not stare at a woman that long if she's like that. 3. the guy likes the lady. He does not be conscious of a thank you to particular his thoughts, yet needs he would desire to detect a thank you to accomplish that. i might inform you promptly up a thank you to tell which one among those perspectives does a guy advise while he makes eye touch or stares, yet i do no longer think of i can. you ought to basically.. kinda experience it. good luck, you would be greater conscious of it alongside the way haha. wish this helped ;)

I found a cairn terrier. Actually I was smoking outside my apartment and he came barreling down the street into me.
And I had to put mine down because of diabetes a few weeks before.
Its not exactly a common breed.
I found the owner later in the day - we crossed paths while putting up "lost dog" and "found dog" posters.
